Notice of archival custody · January 2101
This collection is closed. The last selected opinion is dated 2100; no new case is accepted through this reading room.
The retained packet
Forty selected decisions remain available with their exhibits descriptions, majority reasoning, separate opinions and limited dispositions. Custody preserves the accession keys and the order of the packet. A later reader may cite an opinion as a historical record without turning it into a current permission.
Transfer of functions
Under the Morrow Accord, subsequent arrangements for shared resources, responsibility, operating boundaries, preservation and disposal are handled through the new framework. The old review benches no longer issue fresh dispositions. The preserved records show the disagreements that preceded the transfer; the transfer is not a finding that every earlier question was answered.

Reading and reuse
The packet may be read and downloaded here as a single selection. Quotations should retain the case accession, year and whether the passage belongs to the majority or minority. Exhibit descriptions are accounts of submitted material, not a promise that every underlying object is held by this reading room.
Old addresses
Former docket and filing addresses are no longer filing channels. The public collection retains their historical existence rather than directing readers to a substitute operator. A failed old address neither reopens a case nor removes its separate opinion.
No continuing docket
The January 2101 closure remains the archive boundary. Reading a dated order today does not revive the bench, create an application or extend an expired authority.
